The team arrived in Jamaica safe and sound on Saturday. It took some time for them to get out of the airport, but as soon as they come through, everyone was so excited to be here.
We headed straight to the hotel to drop off our things and then to a restaurant called Island Grill to have our dinner. Everyone really enjoyed their meal!
Afterwards, we had a short team meeting. It was brief because everyone was really tired after a long day of traveling.
We are anticipating what God is going to do throughout the week and will keep you updated as the trip goes on.

Sunday morning we woke up and got breakfast at 8:00.
After breakfast, we head to Jacob's Well Church for service. We arrived to the service a little early, so we took the opportunity to look at the property and see the improvement that has been made over the past 3 years. It has been 3 years since the Pizza Ranch group has been here, it was good to see old friends and make new ones.
We heard a message about how we are to train our children in the ways of the Lord. It was so enlightening for everyone on the team and we discussed it later that night during our team meeting.
It has been a great day and we're looking forward to Monday!

The day started out with breakfast, then hopping on the bus to head over to the project site. When we arrived, the men of the church were already getting things ready for us.
As we began the work, it was really amazing to work alongside everyone, including our old friends. We had some great conversations while working throughout the day. It was so amazing to see all that we were able to accomplish in just one day. Even the Jamaicans were amazed by our progress and complimented everyone on the team because of how they worked together and worked hard to reach a common goal.
It was another great day of serving, we can't wait to see what happens on Tuesday!

This morning we headed back out to Jacob's Well Church to continue working on our service project. When we got out there, there were already workmen on site.
We put the mix on the board to make concrete to pour the floor. It was a really fulfilling day!
We also put together packages for 12 different families. We were so thankful to see how God used simple things to bless people in a big way.
Later in the day, we went to the Children's Home which was a huge blessing for us as we were able to meet children who are less fortunate. It was tough, but getting to play sports with them and hang out with them was so fulfilling.
Thank God, it has been a blessed day.

Today was another great day of service work. We woke up to another beautiful day in Jamaica after which we had our breakfast and headed to the construction site for our last work day.
When we were finished working, it was time for us to leave. The pastor and his church leaders gathered around the team and prayed for us as he sent us on our way. The pastor was so grateful for the work we were able to complete on the church. Us being able to pour the floor was an answer to prayer for them.
After our final hugs and goodbyes, we headed to the Cornwall Hospital Outlet in Falmouth, which is an Infirmary. It was heartbreaking to see everyone there, but nevertheless, they have joy and peace within them that taught us to be thankful for what we have and for the little blessings that God has given us on a daily basis.
It was another great day of service work and we thank God that we could do it all for His glory.
