Fee Fee Baptist Church

The team arrived safe and sound in Waldorf, MD. After a quick orientation, they headed off to shower and get settled for the night. We will make sure to post lots of pictures tomorrow but for now, we rest!

We had an amazing time exploring the National Mall and all the monuments yesterday afternoon. It was a long walk and a little hot, but such a beautiful time remembering how our country started and preparing for a week of hard work. 

We had an awesome first day of ministry here in Waldorf, MD. We were able to paint 3 of the 4 rooms here at the church and start on some VBS prep. We worked so fast that they planned a 5th room for us to paint this week as well! God has been so good and we are so grateful for all He is teaching us this week. 

This morning, part of the crew that is working at the church started on VBS prep. The theme is Destination Dig! We have been hanging signs, and painting rocks. We can't wait to see it all come together. 

This afternoon we had a great time of sharing and devotionals this afternoon before we headed out to do some more prayer walking. Chris shared with us about their experience yesterday during prayer walking. 

Yesterday for our half-day recreation time we went to the Spy Museum in DC. It was so fun to be assigned an alias and an assignment and go through the museum trying to complete our mission. We are all definitely qualified to be professional spies now.

Last night during our final meeting we spent time washing each other's feet and praising Jesus for a great week!
