Augusta Christian School

We arrived safe and sound in Oak Hill just in time to watch the end of the State Final Basketball game! We cannot wait to see what other victories God will bring us this week! 

Our day started with attending church at I Heart, located at the top of a hill with a wide-open view. Afterwards, the team then went to a local community to help a woman move from her apartment. We also played sports and talked with the local children in that area.

The afternoon consisted of walking, walking, and more walking! We enjoyed a hike that took us to an overlook of New River Gorge, a multitude of trees and an endless wall of rocks. We took a few minutes to sit quietly and enjoy the view. Thank you, Brady, for sharing a story and devotional for us after that. He prompted us with two things before closing—what’s one thing you’re grateful for and one thing to pray for?

Today we worked hard helping to prepare for food distribution and also cleaning and organizing the clothes closest. Thank you to everyone from Augusta Christian School for doing such a great job!

Tonight after a long, hard day of work we gathered with and worshiped our awesome God! We were so blessed by the people who sat and shared with us about their addiction and how that because of the grace of God and the blood of Jesus, they recovered! The Holy Spirit was moving in us in ways we have never experienced! It was a great Monday and we are so excited for everything God has planned for the rest of the week! 

We spent time with the kids at Pine Knoll this afternoon. What a great time it was taking in some Sonshine!!

It was a great day of cleaning windows, floors, and organizing the pantry. Thank you again to the Augusta Christian School ladies team for a wonderful job, well done ladies!

We were able to help with community service tonight. Several folks we served with all week were able to attend! What a great way to end a great week of ministry!!

After all of the hard work and ministry from the past few days, the team enjoyed a day of skiing. What a great way to the end week! We’re so thankful for this group and to be able to witness a move of God in their lives.
