What a beautiful place to call "home" for the week!

This week we are here to serve alongside of Primera Iglesia Bautista de Humacao.  We are excited to worship with our brothers and sisters in Christ!

We took time to get prayed up before going to the community to pray for others. 

We went door to door this afternoon praying for everyone we met and pointing them to the local church.

This morning we spent time with Pastor Omar hearing his heart for the community of Humacao.  He shared how his church was spared from major hurricane damage even when the community was destroyed so that they could reach out and bless the community.

Today we started our work project of cleaning up the church building.

We are thankful for the relationships in our group that continue to grow!

Pastor Omar continues to reach out to each of us individually to build relationships with us!  

The Bible says where two or more are gathered in His name, then God is present. This moment says it all!

We are working hard to co plete the painting of the classrooms today!

There's work for everyone!  Many joyful hands make light work!

Each night we gather together to talk about how we saw God at work, we worship, and spend time in the Word.  God continues to work in and through our team!  We are so thankful for His faithfulness to each of us!

We are working today on many projects including painting the bars on the windows.

The youth performed two songs tonight at the mid-week service!

We were able to do more special music. The congregation loved that we participated in the service!

After last night's service we took a picture with our new friends!

We are putting the finishing touches on the painting project.

The project is finished!  We did it!  Now off to pray over the church!

Pastor Omar hugged each one of us and personally thanked us for coming and serving.

We had an amazing afternoon enjoy the Puerto Rican beach!  What a perfect afternoon!

We ended the night by taking time to affirm each other. We shared how we saw God work in and through each other individually!

After a morning of exploring Old San Juan we had our final Puerto Rican lunch. So many memories, so many laughs!  Now we are headed home!  See you later Puerto Rico!
