Pastor Testimony:
Pastor Nelson is married to his wife Ester and they have two daughters. He started as one of the leaders in the church and because the pastor became very sick, Nelson assumed the position as the Pastor of the church several years ago. He has love for this community and it has been his focus to help them to understand God and the gift of the Gospel. Pastor Nelson likes to play soccer and spend time with those in the community. Most Sundays after the service, they have soccer games and fellowship. In the banana plantation community, there isn’t much to do, so Pastor Nelson feels called to bring creative ways to the community to spend time in healthy activities, not only physically but spiritually.

Iglesia Principe de Paz
Iglesia Principe de Paz is located inside a banana plantation, surrounded by banana plants and more than 100 families. The church started gathering in houses in the community and then at the school and also at the banana plantation bodega. Around a decade ago they were able to buy property where the church is located now. They have church service on Sunday mornings and gather in homes throughout the week. Small group discipleship and children’s ministry are two primary focuses to help grow their membership. They believe wholeheartedly that children are an important part of the church and they strive to teach them the Word of God. They believe that God has a lot of miracles for the future of this ministry and they are excited to see what He has in store.
