Reverend Adam was in Nyeria, Kenya in March 2004, when at night he heard the voice of God telling him to go to Naivasha and plant a church. He relocated to Naivasha with his wife and child in the later part of that same year. He had to do research on where to start the church. After months of praying, they found some land, but it took them 6 months to get a deposit to buy it.They started a makeshift structure where they were sitting on stones for chairs. After conducting an open air meeting and door-to-door evangelism, a few children and one woman appeared at the first Sunday service and they knew they were exactly where the Lord wanted them. The woman is still a member to date. The church has grown much by the grace of God. One of the goals of the church is to change the livelihoods of the people in the community with the Gospel. They desire to help young men be trained in trades in order to bring in sustainable income for their families and the community. The church also wants to provide clean water for the community.
