Pastor Simon was born again through salvation in September of 1993. He came from a family who struggled with alcoholism and practiced poligamy. But when God called Pastor to follow Him, He delivered him from that spirit of drunkenness and poligamy. Prior to the change Christ made in his family, they were rejected by the community because of their behavior, but after being saved by Jesus Christ, the community now comes to them for guidance. His transformation has become a testimony to the community that Jesus can change peoples’ lives because he transformed Pastor Simon’s.

The church was started in a house after Pastor Simon received the call of God. One day, the neighbor was enduring an epileptic seizure. As Pastor Simon prayed for him, the seizure stopped and he was healed of his affliction! That miracle of God drew many people to the church. The church started with regular meetings under a tree. After a while, the church began to grow and the congregation was able to purchase a church plot and they built a sanctuary. The desire of the church is to reach the unreached in the community and to help those who are struggling with meeting their basic needs.
