La Viña de Agua Viva is a recent church plant associated with Vineyard Christian Fellowship. Even though the membership is low as they are a new church plant, they are a congregation focused on missions and working with the children of the low income house projects surrounding the community. Their vision is to expand out as a community church that demonstrates God's love, practically and spiritually. Their purpose as a church is to simply "Love God and Love People." They draw inspiration for that purpose from the Bible in Matthew 22 where it says, "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind,' this is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself,' all the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."
