Pastor Byron says his first introduction to God was at the age of seven when he moved into his aunt’s home due to health issues his mother was experiencing. But upon returning back to his home and without the influence of his aunt, he fell away from Christ. Until one day when a friend invited him to church. He went with him and by God's mercy, was reunified with Jesus. He later was saved and baptized. Many years passed and he felt the desire to get involved and prepare to be a pastor, but he did not believe he had the call of ministry, until in a special service in the department of Tiquisate, God told him to “go and get ready because I have chosen you to be my servant.” It’s been 38 years since that day and Pastor Byron is still serving the Lord faithfully.
