Pastor Testimony:
Pastor Joas grew up in the ministry alongside his father. At the age of 16 he gave his life to the Lord after the death of his father. The assembly of elders had chosen him to replace his father in ministry. He was hesitant at first. Then the Lord ordered him in a vision to take charge of the assembly. The Lord said to him: "it is not only in a big country that you will be useful, I choose you to go through all the countries, on the hills, and in the valleys to carry the message of the Kingdom of God."

Torbeck is a small countryside town a few miles outside the city of Les Cayes, Haiti. Stretching out less than a mile wide, it is laid out casually along a stretch of the main highway. Being just half a mile off the coast, Torbeck is lavish in foliage and cool ocean breezes. Rice and sugar-cane fields create a patch-work effect on the surrounding farmland while farmers quietly tend to their crops and animals. The vision of the church is to preach the Gospel in and out of season. They desire to help the community with education by building a classical school and vocational school, health education, and teaching on the importance of drinking clean water.
