Pastor Testimony:
Odean Bennett is an ardent believer who loves the Lord and the word of God. He is a graduate of the Bethel Bible College of the Caribbean- Jamaica, and Pastor of the St. Margaret’s Bay and Spring Bank New Testament Church of God. He is married to Trishauna for two years, who now serves alongside her husband in pastoral ministry. Rev. Bennett has a passion for Evangelism and Discipleship, and lives by the assurance of Romans 8 v 28, which states, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to His purpose.”
Meet the church:
St. Margaret's Bay Church
The church started in 1981 and was established by Rev Henry Gibson at a place called the Market House. It started with six members from the district church. Rev Gibson purchased the current church property from Newton Campbell. The church's structure was started with the help of missionaries from abroad, and the structure was completed and maintained by the monetary contributions of the members. Several district overseers and pastors have served in the capacity over the years. The vision of the church is to become a Spirit-empowered, caring church that is geared toward building and sustaining healthy, prosperous families; equipping and organizing members for effective lifestyle evangelism and discipleship; and establishing a culture that nurtures and facilitates emerging leaders among youths.
