Ten years ago, Dios de la Profecía was planted with a small group of brothers and sisters. There was a pastor who would travel from the village of Iquitos to share God’s Word. Services were only held when the pastor came to the village, but as the church grew and became more stable, a local pastor was needed to be a full-time leader. Pastor Aguila realized at that time that this pastoral role was his chance to respond to God’s calling on his life for ministry. The church prayed and decided to appoint him as the pastor of the church. Eventually God blessed them with a temple to use and now they are able to use their space to bless the community and worship Jesus day and night.
