Pastor Dimas and his family’s ministry is called High Impact. God gave him the mission to take the Gospel, share, and teach others to have a high impact for Christ in Costa Rica and beyond. The church wants to multiply the impact they have in their own community and outside by sharing the gospel in practical ways. They believe that the church is an agent of change in the lives and hearts of people and their communities. They work with children (feeding program, VBS, and discipleship) and also minister to the elderly in their community.. Pastor Dimas had a rough childhood. For many years, he worked as a bodyguard in San Jose for officials. He and Pastora Adriela, his wife, were not Christians when they started our relationship and they lived together before getting married. They had a friend who talked to them about Christ and invited them to church and into discipleship. Later on, they were married and a few years later, received the calling to be pastors of a local church. They started a church in Nambi. After some difficulties, they lost the church building and gave their own house to the church to gather there. God taught them much about selflessness and His provision. A new church building was constructed that beautifully displays their church motto. They have four children: Naza, Nissi, Dimas Jr and Eli Ruth.
