Julius Shikanga Mukaisi
Pentecostal Evangelistic Fellowship of Africa (PEFA) Athi River
Testimony:
I was born again in the year 1984, and have trusted the Lord since then. I still feel like I was born again yesterday and I thank God for that. Becoming a pastor has been exciting and a great challenge at the same time. My desire is to reach more and more people in the community.
Meet the church:
Pentecostal Evangelistic Fellowship of Africa (PEFA) Athi River
Church Description/History: The church was already existing for around 8 years in Nairobi, a place called Embakasi. We were renting a Hall in the midst of the population. When Covid-19 came, teh government closed all the churches and mobility in the country. Many of our members lost their jobs and left the area. After Covid-19 restrictions were lifted, we went back to our rented premises but the landlord had already subdivided the hall and given it out for other businesses. Hence, we had nowhere to go to church! It has taken us 3 years to recover from the Covid-19 repercussions. Our denomination assisted in buying a plot to put up the new church where we are now for less than one year. The state we're in is because of the drawback due to Covid-19. We are therefore encouraged that PPM365 has come our way and thank God for it.
