Pastor Yosimar Esquivel tells us his testimony: “I was born and raised in a Christian Church and household. My parents have been Pastors since I was a baby, always taking me to church. I'm 31 years old now. I had a normal childhood, with the only difference of the expectation of being a pastor's kid. But the real moment when I met the Lord was during a Christian camp in 2008. I decided to give my life to the Lord, it was never easy after that, but I was always able to see from where the Lord was taking care of me. I went to college and returned to serve in the church and was also married. When my dad (the former pastor of the church) passed away, I felt lost and wandering. But God's will was always present in my life everywhere I turned. If my testimony is good for something, it is to exalt God. Everything I have done is because God has wanted, and His will has been done.”

Iglesia Biblica Emmanuel Liberia
Iglesia Bíblica Emanuel de Liberia was founded around the 1940s. In the beginning, Iglesia Bíblica Emanuel was founded by foreign missionaries, in conjunction with a donation of land made by the Murillo family. In its origins, they met in the "pastoral house" and later in 1948 the first building of the temple was made. Since its inception and as its name indicates, the Word of God has been what the foundation of the church has been built upon Currently, Emanuel Bible Church has about 300 members in Sunday services, including children. The heart of the church is to share the Gospel with those who do not yet believe, to minister to all members of the community, and to meet practical needs. They do this through a variety of creative ways and have strategic programs for each age group.
