Rev. Howard Nelson is a graduate of Bethel Bible College where he obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Theology with a minor in Counseling. He entered ministry feeling a strong call from God to be a Pastor. He tells us some of his story: “I grew up in the inner city community of Trench Town, where I lost my father at a young age of 10, that left our family of 5 all in the care of our mother. We went through a lot growing up, with violence and guns right at our doors. I had the opportunity to take up the gun and was presented with my own gun at the age of 12 by my uncle, however I recognized that this was not the life I wanted. So, I endeavored to become better, and with the prayer and care of my mother, we all grew in the fear of the Lord. Today I can give God thanks for his love and mercy towards us.”
