Pastor Juan was born into a family that regularly attended church, having generational heritage in the Lord as his grandparents and parents were pastors. When he was 21, he married his wife Diolina and together, they have 4 children and 3 grandchildren. When he was 30 years old, God called him into ministry. He has been serving the Lord ever since.

Living Faith Pentecostal Church
Iglesia de Dios Pentecostal La Fe Viva was founded in 1993 by Pastor Juan, his wife, and children. Little by little, they grew and expanded. Today, they have over 120 active members. They have two churches in Bateyes, where the church members are from Haiti, and they have other two churches with Haitian members in Villa Hermosa and La Romana. The vision of the Church is to preach the Gospel to reach more people for Jesus Christ. They desire to do this by having a feeding program in every community they have a church building, helping people in times of disaster, helping youth to have a complete primary and college education, and having medical clinics in nearby communities.
