Lead Pastor Testimony:
Pastor Manuel and his wife, Graciela, have two children. Pastor is a full-time pastor and also works in construction. His conversion happened in a restaurant where he was working when he was younger. Some church members were his co-workers, and they told him about God. At this time, he was suffering with depression, and didn't have a purpose in his life. His coworkers led him to Christ and that night, when he was 21 years old, he was saved. It was at that age that he started going to church. After a few months of going to church, he got baptized. From there, he has diligently served in the church in many capacities with his wife.
Meet the church:
Monte Sinaí
The church of Monte Sinaí officially started on September 10th, 1982. It started as a mission within the same property where it is now, with Guillermo López and his family. He started this very few years after his conversion in Valle de Guadalupe. Besides the primary function, which is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ through good testimony and preaching, the church has been a refuge for many families, and it has sustained the ones that are in most need through the social ministries for years. Recently, they’ve been constant in door-to-door evangelism and the social effort to help widows and kids. These ministries have resulted in the occasional visits of the neighbors, relatives, and friends, as well as the conviction, conversion, and baptism of a couple of families this year that are now confessing Jesus as Lord and Savior besides being active members of the local church. This church goes on mission trips to other parts of Mexico.
