Pastor Testimony:
Pastor Sergio tells us his testimony: “I was born into a Christian home. My father and mother are devout servants, my father pastoring in the ministry for 50 years before he passed. My wife and I have two daughters and we serve our church together. My mother tells me that I was preaching at 3 years of age. I grew up, accepted Christ in my life, and always knew I would be a pastor. In 2017, God put before me a broken church, a broken community and so there was much work ahead. Through the highs and lows along the way, I let the Lord lead me, guide me, protect me and provide for my every need. I eventually started to see God;s magnificent hands over my family and the church. Indeed every day I will praise the Lord and I will sing praise to God as long as I live.”

Santa Elena Nazarene Church
Santa Elena Church of The Nazarene was founded over 50 years ago. The first building had a thatched roof and was burned down by a member of the community, who was tired of the preaching and singing. But wouldn’t you know it, a few years later, the man confessed and accepted salvation and became a member of the church! Although many members live far away from the church, they travel miles for service, through the rain, mud, and heat. The mission and heart of the church is to seek and save the lost. They enact their goal through services and ministries for the children, elderly, youth, needy, and more.
