Canyon Del Oro Bible Church

The team from Canyon del Oro Baptist Church of Tucson, Arizona has just arrived. It was an a uneventful but they made it. But just as soon as they land at the airport, rainfall and lighting heavy rain all  the way to the lodging. In the midst of this unforeseen weather,the missions team arrives safely up the mountains and to the lodging facilities up in "El Redentor" in Cidra with Pastor Jason and his wife, Pastora Yeraliz. The team unpacks quickly and goes to sleep, so they can be able to get ready for a busy week. Let's see what God has in store for the team.

A Beautiful Sunday morning. With only a few hours of sleep, the team wakes to worship the Lord with the local church. There are no boundaries when it comes to God. He is the creator of all, and we should all worship His name.

During the service, pastor Jason, led by the Holy Spirit, anoints the teams hands and prays for them for what they are about to do this week. They are sent to do God's work, to do His will. Canyon del Oro represents the hands and feet of God. They have accepted the great commission given in Mathews 28: 19-20. 

After the amazing service and word of God exposed by pastor Jason, the two congregations greet each other before leaving for the day. A great moment for everyone to know who their family in Christ is and who they will be sharing with this week in everything. There is no barrier in a smile and love shared in saying hello.

This is the part of the schedule where everyone gets to know each other. The barriers are broken and friendships are born. 

The missions team shares it's design that they prepared for VBS. The kids design their own beautiful geometric patterns with different color strings.
