Welcome to Belize, Grabill!

by Erin | July 23, 2010 6:22 PM

The Grabill Missionary Team arrived safe and excited in Belize this afternoon. Everyone was smiles and looking forward to the week ahead of serving in Independence/Mango Creek at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. After getting the team loaded up on the bus, we had lunch and our first Team Meeting at a PPM favorite, called Cheers. From there we traveled a few hours south, and everyone took in the beautiful views of Belize. The team is settled at the church, enjoying dinner and excited for an amazing week!

Construction

by Carmen | July 24, 2010 7:04 PM

The team worked hard this afternoon and accomplished many different jobs at Mount Zion Baptist Church. Some worked on the eave of the roof, while others dug holes for fence posts. The girls in the group hauled water and rocks.

Relaxation

by Carmen | July 24, 2010 7:07 PM

The group was able to relax at the beach after working hard this afternoon. Although the water wasn't very clear nor the sand very clean, fun was had by all. We plan on going back to the beach right in the village where we are staying again later this week, maybe even tomorrow!

Sher & Olivia, I miss you 2 very much - its way too quiet around here. I've been praying for you and the entire team. Be encouraged to know that the seeds you are planting will change lives for eternity. Keep up the good work! PS Mission trips are intended to get people outside their comfort zones and seeing a photo of my wife playing soccer confirms this.
