180 Life Church

After a really really long day of travel, we have final made it to our paradise for week. It was so incredible to be greeted by a delicious meal shortly after we arrived! Please be praying for us tonight as we sleep through our first night in Haiti. Pray for deep sleep, a strong breeze, and no rain!

We were a part of a beautiful church service. It was an awesome picture of the body of Christ. Regardless of culture, skin color, or language, we all are children of the same God! That really hit home when they sang a familiar hymn in kreyol that we know in French! We are spending the rest of our day resting and preparing for the full week of ministry that's ahead of us! Please join us in prayer!

We had such a full and fun first day of ministry! Our morning started with a beautiful sunrise and breakfast with coffee on the porch of Pastor Delcy's house. Then we hopped into the construction project. We are helping Pastor and the locals pour the foundation of the new church building. We passed buckets of sand, pour tons of gravel, and had a good time! It was fun to do this work with the locals themselves. 5 of us were given the opportunity to participate in tree ministry today. We each grabbed two saplings and walked around the community. We stopped at houses and shared our life with them, and them with us, and we offered pray and our little trees. It was a blessings, definitely to us, and also to them! We ended our day with a few hours of kid's ministry and then a lovely time of fellowship during women's ministry. Please continue to pray for us as we pour ourselves out for the rest of the week. We are already have so many stories to share with you when we return!

Today was another fantastic day! We continued construction, tree ministry, and kids ministry. We had a time specified for the youth to come together for bible study; it was so good! We had so much fun together, singing, praying, playing. It was a beautiful time. We can't believe our time here is wrapping up. Please pray for us as we go into our final full day of ministry tomorrow!

Wow. We seriously can't believe our time in Granbouchi is coming to a close. At the constructions sight this morning, we worked on filling in the foundation with gravel and dirt to prep it for cement! Tree ministry again was amazing! We love getting to know the people of this village. Please pray for them as we met some who felt "not good enough" for the Gospel. May the Lord reveal Himself to them in might ways! Yet again we had a fantastic a time teach, dancing, playing, and loving the kids. We sure are going to miss the smiles and energy! We are finishing our night with another wonderful time of bible study with the women of he village. Pray for us as we begin to say hard goodbyes!

After a full week of work, today we took the day to relax and travel! We spent our morning at Port Salut. It was beautiful! The way the mountains meet the ocean is absolutely stunning! We are so excited to get home tomorrow and to tell you all about our trip! Please pray for safety!
