We've Arrived!

After a smooth day of travel we have landed in Nicaragua! We are all settled in at a church in Managua for the night. We'll be heading out around 8:30 in the morning for Esquipulas to meet Pastor Edgar!
Sunday School

This morning we left Managua for Esquipulas. We arrived just in time for Sunday school. We loved getting to meet the church members and hear the word from Pastor Edgar!
Home Visits

This afternoon we went out into the community and visited with families. It really gave us insight into the community we are serving!
Sunday Evening Service

Service tonight was incredible. This church has powerful worship! We loved sharing this time with our brothers and sisters in Christ.
Morning VBS - Day 1

We are hosting two VBS programs each day here in Nicaragua. Some kids have school in the morning and others in the afternoon. We are doing one VBS in the morning and one in the afternoon so everyone has a chance to come!
Afternoon VBS - Day 1

The afternoon VBS was great! We had over 100 kids in this session alone! It was a little crazy, but overall we loved starting to develop relationships with the kids!
Food Distribution Prep

Monday night we packaged food for 20 families. This food will feed a family for about one week. We took time putting the food together and praying over each bag. We prayed that God will use this food to show his love and touch hearts!
VBS Day 2!

This morning we started our second day of VBS! We shared the story of Noah and spent the morning loving on the kids!
Food Distribution

After the first VBS we loaded up into the truck and delivered food baskets to four families. We loved getting to talk with them and hear their stories!
Afternoon VBS - Day 2!

These kids have a lot of energy! They are tiring us out but we love getting to work with them. We can't wait to see them again tomorrow!
Final Day of VBS!

Wednesday was our last day of VBS. We had close to 200 kids between the two sessions. What a great week ministering to them! We were sad to see them go - but joyful for the time we had.
El Campo

Thursday morning we went out to "El Campo", a rural community outside of the city. We did a kids program for about 50 kids! It was the first time many of them had seen North Americans!
River Baptism

After El Campo we went down to a beautiful river in the community where we enjoyed the beauty and had a baptism!
Farewell Service

We had an absolutely beautiful closing time with the church and youth. They had a series of special music and dramas and then we all shared about our weeks and said our goodbyes. It was a moving night. We are so blessed by these new relationships!
