Albert Lea Assembly of God

All three groups have arrived! Woodcrest Church, Albert Lea Assembly of God, and Running Water Missions have all arrived safely in the Dominican Republic! After a long afternoon at the airport, we were able to make it to Iglesia Luz de VillaFaro in San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic. We introduced ourselves to one another, ate an awesome dinner and talked about the week ahead. We are ready for construction, sports, and all the kids to join us during the VBS's. Awaiting for God to move in mighty ways!

This Sunday Morning, we were able to split up into two groups and walk around the community. We got the chance to meet many church members and non-church goers alike and talk to them about why we are here and the burden God has put on us and pray for them. It was a sweet time of sharing the gospel and the passion that we have as missionaries to San Pedro de Macoris! We hope to see them at tonight's service!

On Sunday, we got to experience our first service here at Iglesia Luz de VillaFaro! It was wonderful being able to share in the unity of two cultures worshiping the same God!

It is the first day of construction and sports! We set the foundations for the kitchen that is being built behind the church by putting in rocks and sand before the cement can be poured in! This kitchen will be used to host kids and youth during evangelistic outreaches that are done throughout the year! We feel tired but already, we can see the results!
