Youngest to the oldest

by Anna Morgan | March 14, 2016 11:46 PM

Monday we were able to minister to everyone from the youngest at the school to the oldest at a nursing home in a nearby town. We were able to spend time with the residents, hear their stories, tell our stories, paint fingernails, sing songs, and just offer friendship. The residenuts were thankful we visited. After the nursing home, we got to see the central park in the city of Nicoya. We had some delicious ice cream, saw iguanas in the trees, and saw a bit more of this beautiful country. Dinner and our team meeting folowed. We all hit the sack and are getting lots of rest now so that we are ready for a full day of ministry tomorrow!

Movie night!!

by Anna Morgan | March 15, 2016 8:35 PM

Tonight we are having movie night at the church. The whole community has been invited to watch "Kung Fu Panda." This is an awesome way to get the community connected to the church and to share a cool message about the movie and how it reflects principles from God's Word.

Tuesday afternoon we were able to deliver 40 bags of food to 40 different families/homes! Wow! It was a powerful experience. We were able to see the need in the community, offer Christ's love, and provide some physical sustainance. This is an adventure we won't forget!

VBS - last day

by Anna Morgan | March 16, 2016 12:18 PM

Today was our last day at VBS with the precious children at the school. We were able to take some food to some of the children yesterday. It was amazing to see their home lives and be able to bless them with a fun time this morning. We pray they know and love Jesus for all their days. The children and the teachers she'd some tears as we left. It was such a wonderful 3 days with these people.

We were able to make bracelets, paint nails, play soccer, and share the Gospel with those who came. It was such an incredible experience!

"See You Later" Service

by 33738454.2562 | March 18, 2016 10:30 AM

Last night we had our tearful, joyful "see you later" service with Pastor Emanuel, his family and church family. We each shared our brightest "nugget" from the past week. Without exception everyone. loved the people of Costa Rica, their joy for life and love for each other; the wonderful experience of having VBS with the children - sharing stories of Jesus, doing some awesome crafts and science projects, games and sports!!! Delivering food and supplies to the families and praying with them and for them; Witnessing to total strangers who don't speak the same language and knowing lives were changed; So much more. This trip was a blessing for those who made the journey and the lives touched by them. We serve a mighty mighty God and He showed up and showed off this week. Bless you Costa Rica! See you later!
