Calvary UMCby Alyssa Bergstedt | June 21, 2015 2:40 PM
Half of the group spent the morning worshipping alongside Calvary United Methodist Church. Following church, we will be heading down to the Strip District to eat and explore the cultural opportunities that Pittsburgh has to offer.
Aligning Heartsby Andrew B. Smith | June 21, 2015 11:09 PM
Tonight, all of our mission teams in Pittsburgh got together under one roof at Calvary. A night of community, singing and (some) dancing with the African Choir from another local church.
Tomorrow our mission in the community begins. Pray for strength and pray for opportunity and openness. May our hearts directly align with God's throughout this week.
Goodnight from Pittsburgh!

At Church of our Savior, ready to get to work. Fence building, gazebo building, mural painting, kid playing; face painting, parachuting, basketball, soccer, baseball, kickball! What a full day!

Primanti Brothers! by Alyssa Bergstedt | June 22, 2015 10:53 PM
We enjoyed a true taste of Pittsburgh tonight at Primanti Brothers. Following dinner, we had dessert and celebrated a few birthdays that took place today.
Keep us in your prayers as we prepare for another full day of ministry tomorrow.

words of love and wisdom to all who live here.
Midweek updateby Marlee and Lucy | June 24, 2015 9:24 AM
We have made so much progress in the Northview Heights neighborhood. The picnic table project is complete and the gazebo, fence, and mural are all so close. It has been so awesome seeing everybody work together this week to get things done while overcoming obstacles such as rain, heat, and many bugs.
This afternoon we will be going back to the kids meal network and feeding many groups of children. We will have a Bible story with them and just hang out while sharing the love of our sweet Saviour with each and every child. Thank you so much for all of your prayers since we have been here. Please continue to pray that we will all get rest and be able to shine just as bright the rest of the trip. We are so excited to see what else God has in store for us in Pittsburgh!
