We made it to Puerto Rico save and sound. After eating in a local sandwich shop, we are off to the ferry to Vieques. We look forward to see what God has in store for us this week.

This morning we are getting the opportunuty to worship with Esperanza UMC. After taking part in Sunday school we are sharing in testimony, song, and sharing. There was lots of hugging during the greeting. The church has been greeting us with open arms.

This afternoon we prayer walked in the community the kids will be coming from. Now we are making the vbs preparations. Esperanza is currently without a childrens director and was thinking they would have to cancel the summer camp. Through the grace of God and our partnership 55 kids will be hearing and receiving Christ love. God is good!!

This evening we continued prayer walking in the community where lots of the kids come from. We had an excellent time with several of the families and reconnected with many of the kids. The rest of us played basketball with some local youth and interacted with a little league practice. Great relational ministry tonight.

Even though we are here till Saturday, tonight is the last night we will get to worship with the church here in Viques. Hanna and Liz's testimony of this week's impact was very encouraging for the church. Especially how she was struggling with being away from home and wondering if it was a mistake to come. Then God gave her the chance to encourage a family last night on the prayer walk. She prayed for a family and gave her bible to the mother. It was a very impactful ministry time.

A lot of the kids all come from a government housing estate. We have prayer walked in "el pequenia casas" everyday. Today we handed out the handmade dresses and jump ropes to the many kids that live in the estate.
