We have arrived in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic !! We are preparing to load the bus for our long bus ride to Polo (southwest of Barahona). We will be serving alongside Pastor Ninin and his wife Checka during our week of mission. Pray for us as we look to be the 'hands and feet' of Jesus.

This morning we installed four water filters into various homes in the small village of Polo. The water filter acts much like 'mother earth', filtering the 'dirty' water through layers of sand and rock - - - producing clean water to drink :)

On Tuesday we placed 6 more water-filters into homes and /or churches. Here we are praying with a Pastora at a nearby village - - - - she prays that the water-filter placed in the church will bring people to church for pure water to drink and to hear about the 'living water' from Jesus - - - AMEN!! AMEN!!

Each day we walk to the local school for 'Kids' Club. Many children of the village join us as we stroll down the street of Polo.

We have had fun teaching the children songs in English. Here we sing "Head, Shoulders, Knees, Toes" :) (and yes, we are getting much practice using Spanish :)

Throughout the week we installed 13 water-filters - - - the families receiving the filters graciously share their clean water with their neighbors. Many, many people in Polo feel blessed to receive clean, pure water :)
