Home Away From Homeby David Ben Eugene | May 23, 2015 10:50 PM
We made it safely to our destination and meet with one of the locals. They gave us quick tour around the church. We're settled and ready to see what God has in stored for us. Today was a bless day and can't wait for the week.

After arriving to Miami, we worship at Memorial Hwy. Baptist Church. The service was in creole, so we received a translator device to understand the service. The worship service was a blessing and we got to mingle with locals of the church. Overall it was a wonderful experience.
Having Funby David Ben Eugene | May 25, 2015 11:21 PM
Today was a fun pack day for us. We got to hang out with the church locals at their annual Memorial day picnic. We sang and got to learn how to play dominoes Haitian style. After that, we spent our time making balloon animals for the kids. But the best thing about today was eating Haitian food. Later on that night we had the privilege to go have dinner at the local food trucks. What an eventful day.

Once we arrived at MCI we were greeted by Greg who instructed us to paint some houses. We talk to some of the locals there and they thank us for working. We'd also help picking up trash to keep the yard clean. Later on that day we headed back to memorial to play with the local kids there in the after school program. Also we had a chance to participate in the prayer service.
Time to get busy!!!by David Ben Eugene | May 28, 2015 10:34 PM
Today we went to Chapman, which is a homeless center to locals who live there. To my surprise we'd happen to help serve lunch to local residents inside. After that we had the chance to speak with the cooks and got to know their life stories. It was amazing to see what God is doing in this place.
Amazing!!!by David Ben Eugene | May 28, 2015 10:41 PM
Today was another great day as we headed back to Chapman. We started in the kitchen making sandwiches and lunch for the locals. We had the opportunity to talk and witness about Christ. But to my surprise the best thing that happen is when Tericka spoke about experience with God. Overall we had the chance to look around the facility and learned new things about this organization.
