It was such a life touching experience to be able to pray at Harriet Johnson Elementary School. This was my first time praying specifically for a school so it was also a new experience. I was lead to pray out loud to my friends and leaders and honestly it was a little nerve wracking for me. I'm not exactly what you call a perfect prayer, but I know that God heard every word I said. I know that he was so proud of me for taking a bold move in something I'm not comfortable with. Knowing that these children aren't raised in a Christian home is what made this trip to the school so meaningful. It's just really amazing to see God working in different ways and to see that this school is being thought of. Prayer is such a powerful move and God answers each and every one of them. I know these children will be put in good hands because God is good! I'm so happy I was able to part of the Prayer Pelican Missions Trip and I'm so excited for what's to come in the next two days - Christina Bennett
