We were treated to a nice hot breakfast on this Holy day. We have high expectations for what the Lord has in store for us!

Suited up in our “completely serious” attire, we took a stroll at Garden of the Gods. We were in awe at the Lord’s creative design.

Yesterday we were hard at work, making sure every part of the church is in tip-top condition. We are blessed to do anything for St. John Missionary Baptist church!

Last night, we took a moment to reflect on our day and to be thankful for what God has done. We also asked the Lord to help us in our weaknesses.

In one breath.

What a joy to behold!

We are in awe of all that He has given us to enjoy.

Before we got started.

Where do we even start!

We were tasked with removing everything from inside of the shed, which has been on the property from the beginning. Can’t wait for the big reveal.

Not just wallpaper either! But we worked in the heat with a servants heart!

There is a little bit of joy in seeing the hole filled and disappear and the paper peel off in large pieces.

There was a lot of Karaoke craziness going on in the sanctuary.

So much progress has been made! We’ll be done on time though.

Robert, we're at it, we decided to use the leftover paint and we paint bathroom slower at it!

Sam installed a new mini-ice maker for the kitchen! The ladies are overwhelmed with joy!

We are moving throughout the church finding places to clean and organize. This was cool! It’s a supply closet for cleaning supplies and storage for church stuff! Already cleaned out and looks great!

What an honor to have Pastor Lady Dana Richardson with us during devotional time tonight.

Wow! We can’t wait for the reveal!

The big reveal was worth the wait! Pastor John and First Lady were in awe of the shed remodel and all of the upgrades throughout the church.

Chris, Jessie L. , Mitch, Alyse, Kaden, Jessie O., and Kylee all worked for three days to transform the shed. It’s almost like they tore it down and rebuilt it!

The church was ecstatic to see their newly painted mural in the nursery. Although not everyone helped paint it, all were happy to get a picture with it.

We came back from showers to BBQ ribs! Pastor John and Lady Dana’s son, John, who is also a pastor cooked our dinner! What a blessing!

Our hearts were broken for those who break His.

What an amazing day! We drove to the top of pikes Peak and enjoyed amazing views along the way.

Although it was cold, we didn't care! It was amazing!

For some of us, this was our first time here. It was yummy for some and just different for it.

After our beautiful drive to the top of our first 14er, lunch at In-N-Out Burgers, we took a drive back into the park to see what we missed the first time around. We spent quality time together at Balanced Rick.

We had fun pretending we were keeping the rock up and not letting it fall over. Yet, isn’t this how we feel sometimes, that we are the only one holding back the stress, life’s difficulties, trauma, and so on. Yet, we were never meant to balance life alone! We have the Triune God who won’t let the weight crush us.

While traveling back through the park looking for a place for our final Colorado Springs devotional reading, we got to experience this!

Even though the light was fading, we managed to get in one last amazing moment of precious time together. Praise God!

So many memories!

We are going to miss these amazing mountains! We praise you God for all that is Holy and beautiful!

We agreed, the food, the music, the street ministry, the sermon, the fellowship, new friends that are now family—all of it, was the best missionary trip so far!

Lady D tearfully said goodbye to everyone of us. We are really going to miss Colorado and St. John Missionary Baptist Church. Praise God for breaking us down and rebuilding us!
