Back In Belize
by Herman Blease | July 21, 2026 12:29 PM
Pastor Del and the team from Bethel Christian Center returned to Belize this year to serve alongside Praying Pelican Missions at Burrell Boom Nazarene Church. On Sunday, they had the privilege of ministering at King’s Park Church of the Nazarene in Belize City. Pastor Del shared a powerful, Christ-centered message that encouraged the congregation to trust God and be bold. Following the service, the team led a meaningful prayer clinic where many came forward to receive personal prayer, encouragement, spiritual support and healing. It was a beautiful reminder of how God uses partnerships in ministry to strengthen His Church, and we are grateful for Bethel Christian Center’s continued investment in the people of Belize. Please continue praying that God will bless the remainder of their week as they continue sharing the hope and love of Jesus.

Community Grocery Blessing
by Herman Blease | July 21, 2026 12:45 PM
One of our highlights of the week so far was the opportunity to bless families in the Burrell Boom community through a grocery distribution. The Bethel team, alongside the pastor’s wife, Ruby, purchased and prepared 30 bags of groceries for families in need. Each bag represented more than food, it was a tangible expression of Christ’s love and provision. We are so thankful for the generous donors who made this possible!

Serving With Joy

One of the greatest encouragements during the grocery ministry was seeing Pastor’s wife, Ruby, wholeheartedly join the team in packing food bags for families in need. Together, the team prepared grocery bags that would bless families throughout the Burrell Boom community, reminding us that every act of service, big or small, can be used by God to demonstrate His love. We were truly grateful for her joyful spirit and her willingness to serve alongside us.

VBS Dance Party
by Herman Blease | July 23, 2026 6:33 AM
VBS was filled with smiles, laughter, and joyful worship as Pastor Del and Christine took time to dance and sing with the children during the action songs. Moments like these remind us that ministry is not only about teaching God’s Word but also about building relationships, creating joyful memories, and showing Christ’s love in ways children will never forget.

Prayer Under the Tent
by Herman Blease | July 23, 2026 6:39 AM
For two mornings, our team set up a simple prayer clinic under a tent along the roadside, creating a place where anyone could stop to receive prayer. Throughout those mornings, we had the privilege of listening to people’s stories and praying with them for healing, restoration, strength, and renewed hope. It was a powerful reminder that ministry doesn’t always happen inside the walls of a church, sometimes it happens on a roadside bench where people encounter the love and presence of Jesus through a listening ear and a heartfelt prayer. We are grateful for every conversation and trust that God will continue the work He began in each life.

To the Highways and Byways
by Herman Blease | July 23, 2026 6:44 AM
One of the most meaningful moments of the week was taking the Gospel beyond the church walls and into the community through our roadside prayer clinic. As Jesus taught in Luke 14:23 to “go out to the highways and byways,” and as Acts 1:8 reminds us to be His witnesses in our own Jerusalem, Judea, and beyond, we were blessed to meet people where they were. Throughout the morning, individuals stopped to share their burdens, receive prayer, and experience the love of Christ. We prayed for healing, restoration, and renewed hope, trusting that God is still at work in the lives of His people. It was a powerful reminder that the mission of the Church is not confined to a building but is lived out wherever people are willing to go in Jesus’ name.
