Game Night After Travel Day

After a long day of travel we spent some time playing games and fellowshipping together. It was so fun getting to know each other even better and building stronger friendships. So thankful this time together and we’re excited to see what God has in store for this week!!

Sunday School!

This morning, our team was invited to join New Covenant Fellowship for Sunday School. It was super sweet to hear from Pastor Dan & Juan as we jumped into the Word!

Take a Hike!

After church, our team visited Chief Logan State Park. Despite a little rain, we went to the museum and then went exploring. We were surrounded by God’s beauty on our Sabbath.

For supper, our team went to the Yamato Japanese Steakhouse. Here, we enjoyed yummy food to jumpstart the week!

History Lesson

After supper, Pastor Deb visited us! She told us all about the history of Logan, and shared her heart for ministry. It was so sweet to meet her and hear about the ways that God is moving here. We already see the ways that He is using her and her facility to point people to Jesus!

Dress Up!

We started out the morning at New Covenant Fellowship where we went downstairs to the clothing closet! Here, NCF gives out clothes every Thursday to anyone in need. We had the opportunity to donate to help them continue what God is doing here in Logan!

Clothing Closet

Our ladies were able to see the clothing closet! We had the chance to gather empty hangers, organize, and put out new clothes for Thursday!

Street Ministry

Today was such incredible day getting to serve this community by doing street ministry. We had the opportunity to pray with people in the community, serve food, worship together, and to share the love of Christ with others. What a blessing it is to be his hands and feet!

New Covenant Fellowship

Today we had the opportunity to work at New Covenant fellowship church. We spent the day painting, hanging up clothes and organizing the clothing closet, and working on the deck. It was such a blessing getting to work along side this local church. We are so thankful to see how God is working through this ministry.

Today we had the opportunity to go out for street ministry and worship together. There’s something powerful about lifting our voices to God in the middle of the community. It was such a blessing to share the love of Christ.

Prayer at Street Ministry

It was such a blessing to have conversations, listen to people stories, and pray with them today. Seeing how God opened the doors for meaningful conversations was so powerful. I’’m grateful to be apart if this community and pouring into the lives of those here.

Joyful Noise!

Today, we were blessed to join the congregation for their Wednesday night service! Our team was able to bring our musical gifts to share, offering up our praises! We reflected on the Lord’s faithfulness, who He is (a Waymaker!), our need for Him (Lord I Need You), and more! We were blessed to have a time of fellowship and worship.

Testimonies!

At the Wednesday night service, several of our youth testified! We shared how the Lord brought us on this trip, and the many ways He has manifested Himself to us this week through service projects, community members, church service, and our study through Philippians.

New Covenant Fellowship

Today was another great day of serving. We were able to finish up the deck project, hang up lots of clothes, and clean up some trash. It was such a blessing to serve in these simple meaningful ways. We took every opportunity to show Gods love and care for others.

Today, we prepared for the community to come to New Covenant Fellowship! We deep cleaned the whole building, treating it as if Jesus Himself was coming to dine with us!

Chef’s Kiss!

On Thursday’s, New Covenant Fellowship opens up their community clothing closet and hosts a meal! Our team had the awesome opportunity to help in the kitchen. We helped make meatloaf, corn, green beans, rolls, and Bundt cakes!

Rainbow of Satisfaction

In between waiting for the community members to show up so we could help them find clothes, we brought back empty hangers to organize! Our team had the fun idea to organize by colors, creating a rainbow! It was a fun, silly activity while we waited to help the community.

Share a Meal!

After helping with the clothing closet, our team had the chance to share a meal with those from the street ministry that we had been building relationships with all week! What a joy it was to share a meal with our new friends, just like Jesus done with His!

“Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now. And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.” Philippians 1:2-6.
To wrap up our trip, we joined together to pray for Pastor Dan & Deb! We are thankful to witness what God is doing in them and through them’
