It was a cool, crisp morning here in Covington, WA at Heartwood Church for our team picture.

Zach, Devin, Spencer lead worship today during service! They were amazing!

Pastor Jubal walked us through what we will be doing this week. At first we weren't sure what we were getting into, then the excitement set in and we all wanted to volunteer for tasks.

Wow! Just wow! What God breathed into existence in one breath is almost unbelievable.

The air was crisp and cool and we could smell wet earth and pine trees in the air. We were glad we nixed the hike to the bottom—the climb back up was not going to be fun!

On our way back we stopped by Cascadia Pizza Co in Maple Valley. They have the best view of the river in town. The pizza was soooo good. Wood fired and exceptional options to choose from.

Yes! Eat more pizza, said he!

The kids were so attentive to Cora’s message from 1 Timothy 4:8. Teaching them to pray at the end was so moving! Praise God!

Our hearts were broken for those that break His when we served at We ♥️ Seattle. It was hard to describe what we experienced; we were humbled, awestruck, and confused about what’s next. What can we do when we get back?

We got to meet Pastor Jubal's Covington neighbors during this fun night. Laura’s art teacher skills were perfect for face painting!

These few posts are out of order; we actually spent an afternoon in Seattle getting to know the city a bit. We started out at the Museum of Pop Culture. It was really cool seeing memorabilia from different movies and Television shows we knew about or had seen.

This guitar sculpture was fascinating! Of course, Devin being a musician, was quickly drawn to it.

Built for the World's Fair the same year as the Space Needle. We hopped on it for a trip to downtown on our way to the Public Market and waterfront.

We stood in line for about 30 minutes and braved the heat and a bit of sun burn for the chance of a lifetime. Getting to see the first Starbucks on like Place!

We had quite a climb to get back to the monorail stop, so we paused before taking off.

We agreed, we were pushed out of our comfort zone, worked until we were exhausted, dealt with hangry people, and had the experience of a lifetime. We would do it all over again! Praise God for choosing us!
