by Glendy Cho | August 9, 2026 12:25 AM
We are very excited to be in Belize. After a long day of travel, we made it. We are very blessed to see what the Lord has in store for us this week of serving here, but we are also very excited to see what God will do in us. We are thankful to be here safely.

This morning after a great rest, we all came together before heading out. We prayed for a blessed day and that God’s work will be done.

Sunday Bible Study
by Glendy Cho | August 9, 2026 11:10 AM
We arrived at our host church; they were waiting for us with a delicious breakfast. We all enjoyed the traditional breakfast. We all got ready for Sunday morning Bible study, and our host pastor shared that we are all called to served. It was a blessed time of learning with the congregation.

Pastor Sharing
by Melissa Castillo | August 9, 2026 5:01 PM
Following a delicious lunch, we were privileged to hear a welcome address from Pastor Desmond of the Nazarene Church in Orange Walk. He shared his testimony on entering the ministry, described how God works through his life, and left us with inspiring words of encouragement.

Home to Home Invites
by Britney Rosalez | August 9, 2026 8:11 PM
This afternoon, we went house to house inviting people to join us for the activities we have planned. It was a simple but meaningful opportunity to meet people in the community, introduce ourselves, and personally invite them to come.

Grocery Shopping
by Glendy Cho | August 9, 2026 8:32 PM
A group went out to get groceries for food distribution. We're putting together bags to bless families in the community. We also took some time to get snacks for VBS.

Evening Church Service
by Denmar Russell | August 10, 2026 12:28 AM
This evening we had yet another wonderful church service at the Orange Walk Nazarene Church, at this service Pastor Thatcher presented an uplifting and powerful word to those fellowshipping this evening not only that but the team also helped out with the Praise and Worship service and testimonies. It was amazing to see two nations, two different cultures coming together as one to fellowship and give honour and praise to the King of kings.

Day 2
by Britney Rosalez | August 10, 2026 2:49 PM
This morning, before starting any activity, we gathered together and prayed over the compound. Then, we did the grocery bag packing, preparing food and essential items for the families we will be serving this week. Working as a team made the task so easy. After that we prayed over the grocery bags, the families and for ourselves. We were then divided into three different group to start the grocery bag distribution.
We look forward to what God will be doing through us and in us this week.

Food Distribution
by Melissa Castillo | August 10, 2026 3:05 PM
This morning, we completed our first day of food ministry in the community of Orange Walk. We blessed several families with bags of groceries, spent quality time getting to know them, and prayed together. We are honored to be the hands and feet of Jesus.

Day 1 of VBS
by Glendy Cho | August 10, 2026 11:02 PM
We took some time to prepare for our first day of VBS and get ready to jump into action. We began VBS by worshiping God together, then welcomed the children and presented a skit. Our team acted out a skit based on Matthew 5:44, which says, “But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you.”
The kids were very attentive and engaged throughout the skit. Afterward, we enjoyed playing games and doing crafts with them. It was a wonderful first day of VBS, and we were blessed by the great turnout. We had 48kids join us on our first day!
We are so grateful for the opportunity to spend time with these children, share God’s Word with them, and show them His love.

Team Time!
by Glendy Cho | August 10, 2026 11:33 PM
We had the opportunity to gather in the community park. We all shared and debriefed our day together. We shared how we were feeling, encouraged one another, and took time to lift each other up.
We also prayed for the families we had the privilege of visiting today, asking God to be with them and continue to work in their lives. We prayed that He would renew our strength, give us wisdom and discernment, and help us quiet our hearts so that we could hear His voice and follow His leading. We are looking forward to Day 3 of ministry.

Food Distribution
by Britney Rosalez | August 11, 2026 2:48 PM
This morning we started off praying for the day and were then assigned a group to go ahead with the home visiting. While we were on our way, it started raining hard, but it didn’t stop us. We were still able to see the different situations these families are facing, and that made us more grateful for what we have. Sharing hope and encouragement with them reminded us that sometimes the simplest acts of kindness can make a difference. It was a blessing to listen to their stories and pray with them.

Work Project Day 2
by Denmar Russell | August 11, 2026 3:53 PM
This morning the team embarked on 3 projects:
-1. Siding project (remodeling and fixing the back siding of the church)
-2. Fence painting project (where a part of the team started painting the church fence front and back).
-3. Completion of roofing project. The team did a great job on this one……..
Glory to God for all that was accomplished this morning. The Lord even cooled off the rest of the day with a slight shower of rain and a whole lot of breeze. A great day indeed. Glory to God.

DAY 2 OF VBS
by Melissa Castillo | August 11, 2026 5:42 PM
The rain didn’t stop the kids from joining us! We had an amazing time singing, dancing, playing games, making crafts, and learning about courage through Joshua 1:9. We’re also incredibly proud of our Highline youth for stepping up and leading VBS. They have been ROCKING it! It’s such a blessing to see them serving, leading, and sharing God’s love with the next generation.
We can’t wait to see what God has planned for tomorrow.

YOUTH NIGHT
by Glendy Cho | August 12, 2026 12:22 AM
What an awesome way to close out our ministry day by hosting a youth night! We had an incredible time ministering to the youth, and it was so encouraging to see the unity among the surrounding churches as they came together and brought their youth to join us.
One of our own youth had the opportunity to share tonight about the life of the prodigal son and the incredible love his father had for him. It was such a powerful reminder of the Father’s heart toward us.
We were truly blessed to worship together, share God’s Word, and spend meaningful time with the local youth. What a beautiful night of fellowship, unity, and ministry!

A TRIP TO THE PASS
by Glendy Cho | August 12, 2026 4:54 PM
This morning, we had the wonderful opportunity to head out on an adventure. We boarded a boat and set off to visit a Maya site. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed, and it was a great experience learning more about the fascinating Maya civilization.
We learned that the Maya believed in many gods and had a rich and deeply rooted culture. As we listened and explored, we were also reminded of our own faith in the one true God—our loving Heavenly Father.
It was a beautiful experience to learn about the history and beliefs of another culture while reflecting on the faith we hold dear

VBS
by Britney Rosalez | August 12, 2026 8:04 PM
This afternoon we continued with the VBS. We learned the importance of sharing and caring for others. We also played some games and painted some bags, which we left drying and are getting tomorrow. We are so grateful for the opportunity God has given us to know the children from this community.

Work Project Day 3
by Denmar Russell | August 13, 2026 3:51 PM
Today the team completed two projects. The fence wall painting and the church siding installation. Besides it being about 90 degrees, the good Lord provided some breeze and a couple clouds to keep us cool. The construction of a shed in front of the Sunday school building was also started today. This team did an awesome job this week.

Fence Painting
by Denmar Russell | August 13, 2026 3:53 PM
The fence painting project was completed today. The fence now looks neat and radiant.

Food Distribution
by Denmar Russell | August 13, 2026 3:57 PM
While some were completing fence painting and other construction projects at home, three subgroups went out to do food Distribution to needed families. The visit to the needed in the community was an eye opener and a life changing experience for many who got the chance to do it. The team was a huge blessing as they were also hugely blessed.

Last Day of VBS
by Melissa Castillo | August 13, 2026 5:34 PM
What a fantastic final day of VBS! We were joined by so many wonderful kids as we learned about forgiveness. Everyone made a custom photo frame to take home with their picture. Seeing their smiling faces melted our hearts! We’ll miss them all dearly, but we're taking every memory with us.

Last Supper
by Glendy Cho | August 13, 2026 8:55 PM
As we close out our last day, we came together one final time to share our last dinner before our closing service. It was a meaningful moment to reflect, celebrate the journey we’ve shared, and enjoy each other’s company one last time before bringing everything to a close.

Closing Service
by Glendy Cho | August 13, 2026 11:53 PM
At our thank-you service, we worshiped together and had a wonderful time sharing our experiences of serving the community. Tonight's message was from Philippians 4:4–7, reminding us to rejoice in the Lord, pray with thanksgiving, and trust God’s peace.
We are truly thankful to God for giving us the opportunity to serve the community and to be part of His work.
As Jesus commanded us, we are called to go into all the world and make disciples. We praise God for the privilege to serve, share His love, and be a blessing to others. All glory and praise belong to God!

GO SLOW
by Glendy Cho | August 14, 2026 8:12 PM
Today, we made our way to a beautiful island for a relaxing and refreshing day. We had the opportunity to enjoy some free time, explore, and simply take in the beauty around us. Later in the day, we all came together for a special baptism service.
We rejoice with the youth who chose to take this beautiful step of faith and publicly declare their commitment to Christ. What a blessing to witness these young lives surrendering their lives to their God. Praise God for what He is doing in our lives.

CLOSING MEETING
by Glendy Cho | August 14, 2026 8:26 PM
We gathered together for our debrief meeting to reflect on everything we experienced throughout our time together. It was a meaningful opportunity to share our thoughts, talk about the highlights and challenges, and recognize how God was working through every part of the journey.
As we listened to one another, we were reminded that every experience, conversation, challenge, and moment of joy had a purpose. We celebrated the memories we made, the lives we were able to touch, and the ways we saw God move. Most importantly, we left with grateful hearts, knowing that God guided us throughout this journey.

UNBELIZABLE MISSION
by Glendy Cho | August 15, 2026 1:23 PM
As we come to the end of our mission trip, we are thankful for the wonderful week God has given us. We have seen His goodness and faithfulness throughout our time here, and we are grateful for all that He has done through us and around us.
We have been blessed to encourage one another, lift each other up, and serve together. As we return home today, our prayer is that we will continue to serve God faithfully and trust Him in everything we do.
We are especially thankful for our host church, our brothers and sisters in Christ, and their kindness and hospitality. We are grateful for their ministry and for the opportunity to serve alongside them. We pray that God will continue to bless, strengthen, and guide their church and ministry.
Although we are going home, the mission continues. May we carry with us the love, joy, and lessons God has given us this week, and may we continue to serve Him wherever He leads us.
