On our third day, we went to the store to buy all the groceries for the food bags that we’ll distribute throughout this week. All of us prayed over the bags and for the families that will receive them.

In the afternoon, we painted the walls of the two classrooms of the church. We used yellow and light blue paint!

On Tuesday, we went to a school to do VBS in the morning. First, we did a puppet show and a skit about the parable of the woman and the lost coin. This represented Jesus’ joy when He finds His lost children. Later, we did crafts based on the parable.

Our team continued to paint the exterior walls of the classrooms of the church in the afternoon. It was a pleasure to help create a better place to teach the kids about the gospel.

For food distribution, in the afternoon, we visited a special home. A lady and her son accepted Jesus in their hearts, and we prayed for her son and his health struggles.

Tonight we had women’s ministry. We shared some time to drink coffee, soda, and ate tasty pastries. We colored some drawings, painted our nails, took polaroids. At the end, Sandy shared a devotional with us. It was an amazing night!

On Wednesday morning, we had the kids come to the local church for VBS. We did a skit about Noah’s ark, a puppet show and we colored a drawing of Noah’s ark full of different and amazing animals!

In the afternoon, half our team did food distribution. We met a lady who is youth leader at Eben-ezer church. Her grandson was present when we visited her. They both liked our salvation brazalets and we gave them some to share with their relatives and friends!

For food distribution, today we visited Melisa. We shared time with her, shared the gospel using our salvation brazalets and she agreed to accept Jesus in her heart. What an amazing privilege it is to spread Jesus’ love!

In the afternoon, we visited a school for VBS. We did a skit about the parable of the Good Samaritan, a puppet show and a craft which brings to our minds the importance of helping and serving others.

In the evening, we had a farewell service. Our host families from the local church shared some gifts with us, we praised the Lord, shared highlights of the week and we said bye to our new family in Christ!
