Thank you Lord for safe travels, for time to explore, share and break bread together and for our special host partners and community we get to serve along side.

We were blessed to help make a meal for those who came to church today. Miss Orita lovingly showed us how to make and prepare Fry Bread and all hands on deck to make sides of potato salad, homemade baked beans, potato salad and cake!

Such a blessing to be able to worship and dive into God's Word together with Hope Ministries church community.

Hearts for Jesus and for serving!

This morning we had the privilege of participating in “Walk The Cross.” We each had the opportunity to carry the Cross for a period of time from Hope Ministries into town and reflecting on what Jesus endured for each of us. As we greeted those we met along the way, we were able to hand out water, snacks,, listen to, pray with and encourage them to join us tomorrow for a meal at Feed My Sheep.

Hope Ministries has a playground that was started awhile back but was never fully completed, so Champion Christian H.S. has taken on the task with joy and determination. The new ladder was added yesterday and today they have completed more improvements. But wait, ……there's more. Check back tmrw for the finished project that is sure to be a joy and blessing to so many kids in the community!

This afternoon color was added to 2 tiny homes, a wooden cross, another picnic table, and a second coat applied to the church entrance door. God provided a nice breeze to help keep us cooler under the sun. Can't wait to show you the bright and beautiful finished projects tomorrow.

We not only got to experience carrying the cross today (reference earlier post), but also got to put a new fresh coat of white paint on this cross that will soon be hung up on the front of the Hope Ministries building for all to see. Truly a place that shares Christ’s hope, love, and forgiveness in meaningful and intentional ways, daily.

At the end of the day, we got to sing and celebrate two special people. Happy Birthday Maggie & Megan. SWEET!

The team is working hard, in the hot sun painting four tiny houses for Hope Center.

The team helped cook meatloaf, mashed potatoes & gravy, peach cobbler and fry bread and served it to local hungry people. A message was shared and songs were sung. An amazing evening for all.

Team- Champion Christian H. S. ladies worked tirelessly to get the tiny house walls painted with a pretty “robin egg blue”…..so bright and cheery! Tomorrow's trim color will be completed; making it ready again to welcome and bless the Apache community with a warm, inviting, and safe place to sleep.

The team was taken to hike up to Geronimo’s cave. We understand Geronimo hid here for a long period before finally giving up to save his people.
