Granger Community Church

After some delays on our flight, we finally landed in Honduras. We hope it will be a week full of blessings and connections with the local church.

At our first church service, we were welcomed with a special performance by the Sunday school children.

We had a lovely time with the kids at Sunday school; we split into different groups with children of different ages. Being with them showed us the love of Jesus in them. This is where a special connection with them begins.

After a delicious lunch, we went to the new church and picked up the trash that was inside. Then we threw it in the back of the trash truck, which is on its way.

We also collected a lot of leaves that were outside the temple.

We were digging to level the ground. This is where they're going to build the new kitchen for the sisters at the church.

We played soccer with the youth from the church. We divided into four teams of nine people each. The team that scored a goal eliminated the opposing team. It was so much fun playing with the youth. At the end, we all prayed together, thanking God for this wonderful time together.

Today we started to work on the church’s stage by digging a trench where the blocks will be placed.

Meanwhile in the kitchen area we had 2 teams working, one painting the inside and another laying concrete where we dug up yesterday until it was level.

After our lunch time we had some kids ministry activities. We had some fun, played games and shared the word of the lord through an acted out story.

After kids ministry, we went back to work on the stage of the new church to wrap up for the day.

After a dinner we had our debrief meeting and after that one of the staff members performed some.worship songs on the saxophone.

Every shovel of concrete represents a step toward something greater. Working together, serving together, and laying foundations that will impact lives for years to come.

What we build today will serve generations tomorrow. United in purpose, we’re creating something that will make an eternal difference.

Real faith is lived out through service. Every shovel of dirt moved brings us one step closer to creating a place that will bless many.

A testimony has the power to encourage, inspire, and point others to Jesus. Every story of God’s faithfulness reminds us that He is still working in lives today.

Today we splitted in 2 groups to take better care of the work we had ahead of us, the first team went visiting at a kinder garden where one of the local church members works as a teacher to share the gospel and to have a fun time

Meanwhile the team at the kinder garden did their thing our second team got back to work on the temple continuing yesterday’s work on the stage

After lunch we splitted into two teams once again, one team was continuing work on the stage, and the other team did landscaping on the kitchen area

After finishing our work on the temple we went to the farewell service at church, Pastor Sabino was really Grateful for our help during this week and he showed it with a slideshow of our work, and some cake
