Dinner with Pastor
by José Tarragó | June 4, 2026 2:57 PM
On our first day in Guatemala we went to meet the pastor and his family. We were received with a delicious dinner and a little gift. We are so excited to see God moving this week.

Buying Groceries

We went to a local supermarket to get food and cleaning supplies to prepare some bags for food distribution. It's a beautiful way to visit the community and pray for the families.

We visited the house of Santiago and Maria. A beautiful couple that has gone through a lot but have remained faithful to the Lord. God is definitely moving in Guatemala.

VBS Day 1
by Brenda Vásquez | June 5, 2026 12:23 AM
Today we learned that Jesus died for our sins and washed us clean. The children made crosses as a reminder of His love and sacrifice for us.

Identity in Christ
by Brenda Vásquez | June 5, 2026 12:33 AM
Tonight we learned about finding our identity in Jesus and not in the labels the world tries to place on us. We were encouraged by Makayla’s testimony as she shared how she chose to trust God’s purpose for her life instead of believing the voices around her. A powerful reminder that our true identity is found in Christ alone.

One Church, One Family
by Brenda Vásquez | June 5, 2026 12:38 AM
We ended the evening praying for one another alongside our brothers and sisters from the local church. It was a special time of encouragement, unity, and seeking God together. We are so thankful for the relationships He is building through this partnership.

Such an Inspiration
by José Tarragó | June 5, 2026 12:56 PM
We visited Wilfredo and his mom. We came back after one year. He's such an inspiring person. He's always smiling and sharing his love for God with us. Both gave us a beautiful example of how the sons and daughters of Christ should behave.

Jacob got a New Kidney!
by José Tarragó | June 5, 2026 6:36 PM
Praise the Lord. We were surprised by the wonderful news that Jacob, a young man we visited last year that had kidney failure and his condition was pretty bad, had surgery yesterday to get a new kidney. His father said that his new kidney is starting to work as intended. We are so happy to see God moving.

Let the Kids go to Jesus
by José Tarragó | June 5, 2026 6:38 PM
Today we learned that Jesus comes to find us in the middle of the storm. We don't have to go through it alone. The kids were so happy with every activity. We love them so much.

United in the Word
by Brenda Vásquez | June 5, 2026 10:01 PM
We ended the night gathered together for a devotional, encouraging one another and growing in God’s Word. Grateful for these moments of fellowship, reflection, and friendship.

Demolition Project
by José Tarragó | June 6, 2026 4:52 PM
You can't build new things without tearing down the old ones. The temple already looks a lot bigger. We were blessed to have some members of the church working with us.

Almost Done
by José Tarragó | June 6, 2026 4:54 PM
The demolition project is hard, but it's rewarding to see the results already. Pastor Moisés was really helpful, showing us how to do things.

Food Distribution Ministry
by Brenda Vásquez | June 6, 2026 6:46 PM
While part of the team stayed at the church to help with the demolition project, others went out for food distribution visits. Today we had the opportunity to meet Marta Julia, spend time with her, and pray for her health. We are grateful for every home we enter and every person God allows us to encourage with His love.

The Work is Done!
by José Tarragó | June 7, 2026 11:33 AM
We finished the demolition of the old bathrooms. It looks a lot bigger. It's beautiful to be a part of the construction of this beautiful church.

Cleaning
by José Tarragó | June 7, 2026 11:37 AM
We cleaned everything that got dusty after the demolition. The church will be ready for service tonight.

Preparing to Serve
by Brenda Vásquez | June 8, 2026 9:13 AM
Today we picked up a vacuum for the church’s new stage carpet as we prepare for ministry. Grateful for God’s provision in every detail.

A Gift of Gratitude
by Brenda Vásquez | June 8, 2026 9:20 AM
Today we had the privilege of blessing our pastor’s wife with a new stove as a small thank-you for the love, care, and support she has shown us throughout our time here.

A Joyful Ending
by Brenda Vásquez | June 8, 2026 9:28 AM
Our last day of VBS was filled with joy, games, songs, and lots of smiles. Thankful for every child who came and for the opportunity to share God’s love with them!
