St. John's HS Youth

After church on Sunday, the team took the “L” downtown and explored the beautiful city of Chicago!

Today we started off our week of ministry at Black Oak Church of Christ. We did a lot of demolition and heard some testimonies of the people at the church.

This afternoon we got to help clear our another old church at the Abba center that has been affected by lots of flooding.

We finished our last day at Black Oak and did a lot of sweeping and clean up everything from yesterday!

Today we worked at the ABA Center and laid tile and painted walls all day! Some of the students went and helped at a VBS.

The boys helped make dinner for the teams! They made hamburgers and even toasted the buns! They were a great help!!

We started our day off at free n deed, market helped with bagging peoples groceries walking them out to their cars as well as stocking shelves.

The students signed their name on the mission team wall at ABA Center before leaving for the week!

We took a picture with Dr. Scott before leaving the ABA center in front of the freshly painted walls and got a beautiful moment where we all got to pray a little something over her and the ministries that they are doing through the ABA center!
