Her Wilderness

We arrived safely, and what a warm welcome we received. We are so excited to be here in Belize on our first mission, and we are excited for the great opportunity. God is in control, and he is before us. We are looking forward to a great week.

What a beautiful day in Belize! After a good night's rest, we are ready for our first day of ministry we all did our divetiona on Ephesians after that we jumped in the bus and went to church where we had breakfast and we got to hear a little bit about our host pastor Sunday school began and we received the teach what a great morning it has been

We all went to the store to get groceries for food distribution. Girl power in this group accomplished the shopping. It's great to come together to be a blessing to this community.

After we had purchased the groceries, we all got together to pack them, which we all enjoyed. After packing 20 bags to bless 20 families, we prayed over them, and we are looking forward to going into the community to bring this great blessing that God sent for his people.

Our second service of the day, what a great way to end our day with a worship service, where we shared a little about ourselves with the congregation, and that we look forward to serving alongside the host church and the sisters. The pastor shared the message on mission, which was to go out and make disciples in all the nations, and here we are in Her wilderness in Belize, serving our Lord. All glory to the land!

We got together and went to buy a refrigerator for the church ladies and our host pastor after learning that they needed one. The pastor was ecstatic about this wonderful gift and asked us to join him in a prayer of gratitude for the appliance, which he dedicated to the use of church facilities.

We divided into two groups and headed out for some home visits. We heard many testimonies today about wonders, miracles, and God's love, and we were deeply touched. What a wonderful ministry.

We got the opportunity to go to a local school to invite kids for VBS

The first day of VBS at Filadelfia Church of God went very well. Today we talked about the fruit of the spirit; we got to teach the kids a song of the spirit with some motions; and we got to play games with the kids and share a Bible story. The kids had a great time.

This morning we boarded our bus and headed to our host church, where our sisters awaited us with a delicious breakfast. We then took the time to talk about how we see God working, and we got to pray for each other that the fire of the Lord be in us.

We then went to the Corozal Hospital, where we were greeted by the head nurse and divided into three groups to visit patients and their families. We simply ask God to give them His peace, which surpasses all understanding.

We are sharing the fruit of the spirit with the kids, so we bought some fresh watermelon and pineapples for snacks. We all spent some time walking around the farmers' market and preparing fruit for VBS.

We were so happy to see the kids again today. We all prepared a skit for today's Gospel because we want the kids to understand the true meaning of the fruit of the Spirit. We had creative games. Day two of VBS for 55 children went extremely well.

We ended our day by hosting a Bible study. We were overjoyed to see the ladies we invited come. We all talked about how we can show God's love in our daily lives and be true worshippers. We really enjoyed the time with our sisters tonight.

We were all ready for our final day of ministry. We all simply share our God moments and rejoice in them. We were all blessed because today we will be able to visit the village of Pachakan, where our host pastor and another brother are preaching and reaching out to the community.

We all went in groups, led by brothers Francisco. We all got to share and pray with the family. We also heard a testimony of God's goodness. We had the opportunity to pray for our brothers and sisters in Pachaken.

Today, our VBS came in with double the energy, and we were all ready to have fun with them. On our last day of VBS, we closed with a presentation about accepting Jesus into our lives.

As we come to the end of this trip, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude for this community and the church. Our host pastor made it so special by blessing us, and tonight, our sister came to say goodbye, but receiving prayers for our host pastor was truly a blessing.

We are overjoyed that we were able to participate in our first mission trip this week. God intended for us to serve in Corazal, and we are grateful for the opportunities that have arisen in Pachakan village. We are also preparing for our 2027 mission trip, and the countdown has begun. Her wilderness will be restored in Belize.
