New Hope Chapel

New Hope arrived early on Sunday morning, ready for Sunday School and worship service. During Sunday School, everyone explored a Bible story about doing the right thing and making wise choices. The lesson encouraged everyone to carry those values throughout the week, reminding us to honor God in our decisions and actions each day.

After Sunday School, they attended the worship service, where Pastor Josh delivered an inspiring sermon. They also had the opportunity to meet and fellowship with members of the church congregation.

Following the church service, the team met the other teams they will be staying and serving alongside throughout the week. Everyone enjoyed lunch together before spending the remainder of the day getting to know one another, watching the World Cup, and sharing in fellowship. It was a relaxing and meaningful time that helped build friendships and prepare everyone for the week of ministry ahead.

On Sunday evening, the church congregation gathered again for a fellowship dinner. They served pizza along with a variety of delicious homemade snacks for everyone to enjoy. As everyone shared a meal together, they had the opportunity to visit, get to know one another, and build new friendships. It was a wonderful time of fellowship as the teams learned more about the church, the community, and the ministry opportunities they would be serving in throughout the week. The evening provided a warm and encouraging start to a week of serving together in Christ's love.
