This morning, we got to attend an amazing sunday service at Greater Saint John! It was full of so much joy and was a blessing to get to experience their worship and partake in it. We cannot wait to see what this week has in store for us, and start serving! It was an amazing way to start the week with a foundation on the Lord.

We started the morning off helping at Greater Saint John. We scraped the railings in prep of painting them, did yard work, cleaned all windows and more! It was a great way to start off the service week helping our partner!

This afternoon we got to hand out blessing bags and waters on Colfax Ave. Colfax holds a large population of those unhoused in Denver, and is one of the longest streets going East and West in all of the US. We got to pray over people, pass out waters, and just pour into these people through short interactions. It was a beautiful opportunity this afternoon as we began the week of ministry.

As a reward for all of our hard work serving the community so far today, we stopped for doughnuts! Good treat to help us stay motivated in the heat.

We got to end the night basking in the beauty of God’s creation. We worshipped through song, and through the devotional in Philippians. We had many beautiful conversations, and it was a beautiful end to the first service day! Can’t wait for tomorrow!

This morning we got started painting this long railing up to the church doors. We filled in rusted holes, and made so much progress the area looks so incredible now. We got to paint multiple areas including their sign in the front, hand rails, and these black railings. Amazing way to start off day 2!

For our second ministry afternoon, we got to help at project C.U.R.E. This organization is a huge medical distribution warehouse, sending supplies to over 135 countries. It was so amazing to see this process, and the amazing equipment that gets to help support others. They are the world’s largest distributor of donated medical supplies, equipment, and international medical relief services to doctors and nurses, with locations in more places than just Denver. It was an amazing opportunity and awesome way to end the afternoon!

For our third ministry day, we were able to help out at the Denver Dream Center with a huge community lunch. The DDC helps those unhoused in denver get food, and resources to get back on their feet, and holds youth events and church services! We had an amazing day serving those from the community and hearing their stories.
