St. Andrew's Church

We had the amazing opportunity to speak with Miss Karen who helps run restoration missions. We got to learn about the mission and what we are going to do this week.

We had to spend the afternoon in fellowship and watching the World Cup game.

We had a fun time eating dinner at the park and hanging out at a local park.

We had the opportunity to do some yard work around the Restoration campus. We did some weeding and picking up trash.

We spent the afternoon cleaning up the women’s shelter and surrounding areas. We did lots of weeding and lawnmowing.

After work sites, we spent the time before dinner setting up the food pantry and engaging in fellowship.

We spent some time today cleaning up the community garden for restoration ministries. The team got every weed out down to the smallest of weeds.

Today a small group got to clean the kitchen and the entry area. Lots of grease but also lots of laughs.

This week we had the amazing opportunity to work at the kids camp through Restoration Ministries. We got to help with lessons and play with the kids.

We got to do some yard work at the thrift store. Lots of lawn mowing and branch trimming.

With some spare time we got to organize the food pantry and help the volunteers restock the shelves.

The amazing opportunity to help participate in the Saint Clemens Food Pantry. We helped over 200 people collect their food for the week.

On our last day of ministry, we worked with the Miss Olivia. we helped do yard work around an abandoned house making it look nice and new.

Today we had an opportunity to help out a ministry called billing the gap. This ministry gives housing to people in need and also help with other logistical things. We helped clean out the garage which right now is their main storage unit.

This afternoon we have the opportunity to serve at multiple different places. One of those places was at restoration ministries day camp. We cleaned out the classrooms and gave everything a good scrub.

We had the opportunity to organize the food pantry. Lots of unloading and rearranging.

This week is for lots of yard work. We got to do some yard work at the women’s shelter through restoration ministries.

Last stop of the afternoon is a Harvey boxing club. We reloaded some trash in the trash cans and did a little weeding.

On Sunday we got blessed to attend church service at Spirit of God Church, so we went back and pulled weeds for them.

Rec day is off to a great start. First, we rode the red line into the city and then went to the Bean and the crown fountain.
