St Ann / St Andrew FourthirTEEN Youth Group Mission Trip

We arrived safe and sound at the place we’ll be staying this week! We’re grateful for God’s protection during our travels and excited for all He has in store in the days ahead. Thank you for your prayers!

We went to mass this morning at San Joaquin Parish. We met father Felix and he blessed our journey here.

On our first time in Guatemala back in 2025, Father Felix was just starting his ministry time in this parish. Today we were part of the celebration of his first anniversary here! We were able to share a little bit of time with him while drinking a refreshing lemonade.

We are so blessed to be back at El Bejucal!

Today the kids created special T-shirts using their handprints around a cross. It was a fun activity and a beautiful reminder that Jesus is at the center of our lives.

While one group spent time with the kids, another group visited families in the community to build relationships, and share the love of God.

Today we divided into three groups to serve the community in different ways. One group led crafts with the kids, another visited families in their homes, and our medical team cared for the community’s health needs.

Yesterday we had the opportunity to continue visiting homes, building relationships, and providing vitamins for the children in the community. We are grateful for every opportunity to share God’s love in practical ways.

Yesterday we also met Nancy, a hardworking woman who faithfully provides for her family by caring for tomato, cucumber, and corn fields. It was a blessing to hear her story and spend time with her.

Yesterday was our last day in the community. We spent time with the children, coloring together and decorating hair clips. We are thankful for the memories we made and the opportunity to share God’s love throughout the week.

We were so happy to see the children we met last year. It was a joy to reconnect and make more wonderful memories together.

To close our time in the community, we shared a dinner together. It was a very special evening filled with fellowship, gratitude, and God’s love.
