Bedford 1st Church of God

The team arrived in Anchorage safe and sound. We spent time enjoying pizza and fellowship together!

We drove to Anchor Point early Sunday morning to attend Anchor Point Church of the Nazarene, where we will be staying and serving this week. Pastor shared a message and then we enjoyed a Father’s Day meal with the congregation.

Our main project this week is painting the sanctuary and the fellowship hall of the church. We are off to a great start!

After a full day of service, a couple from the Anchor Point congregation invited us to their home for some snacks. We spent time getting to know them and sang worship songs together.

Our second full day of service commenced, and consisted of more painting, this time in the fellowship hall and the hallways of the church. We also finished the shelving to make the entry way flow more efficiently come winter time.

• Nothing is better than a team debrief and devotional after a busy day. We studied Philippians chapter 2 and shared what stood out to us in the verses and finished by praying together.
