We are Back in Guatemala!

After a long day of travel we are safe and sound in Guatemala, ready to serve alongside Pastor Sergio and see what God has in store for us.

We have arrived to Chimaltenango, and we enjoy our first meal cooked by pastors wife and we met the whole family, we are excited to get to know them more this week

Getting Ready for House Visits

We went to get some food and cleaning supplies to deliver during the week to the families in the community. We are excited for it.

We prayed for all the supplies that will be delivered during the week. We already know that God will move in every house.

Preparing the Bags

We prepared all the bags. One bag has cleaning and another one has food supplies. They are an instrument to bring not just material blessings to the house but also spiritual, as we get to know the families and pray for them.

Church Service

We had a beautiful church service. We enjoyed watching people celebrate one same God, no matter the language. God is so good.

Construction project

We visited the house of a member of the church there needed a roof for their kitchen. It was a big blessings being part of the construction of it. We thank God for the opportunity.

Painting the church

We had the blessing to paint the church. We painted it all white. It looked like a new church. The pastor was really happy with the results.

Women time

Later in the day. We had the chance to spend some time with the ladies from the community. We painted some flowers that represent that God is always taking care of us and all of our needs.

We had wanted to have some time to talk to the pastor. It was a beautiful time, hearing his testimony and all the ways that he's been faithful to God.

Fist day of house visits

We went to visit some families from the community. It was a time to learn more about the needs that people have and the big blessing to pray for them.

Time with the kids

The kids are the future of Guatemala, and we enjoyed teaching them about Jesus and how He is the light in our lives.

Soccer time

Kids really like to play soccer, so we took them to a field to play with them. They were so happy.

A well deserved ice cream

And to finish the day, we went to a local ice cream shop called Sarita. It was delicious and gave us the opportunity to see the town.

Last day of house visits

We met Marta and her family. They are so inspiring, they are 80 years old and have lived through a lot but they still have a strong love for each other and for God.

Giving the kids letters

On our last day of kids ministry. We gave them some letters that were sent to them. It was a beautiful time. Each letter was written in Spanish by kids from 5th grade back in the United States.

We loved the kids from the community. They were so loving and kind to us. We are gonna be praying for them and definitely gonna miss them.

The church gave us the time to sing to them. It was a beautiful moment, being able to worship no matter the language.

We were given the opportunity to share the word of God. Talking about God's design for a family was a beautiful thing. God is definitely here.

Antigua

We visited Antigua Guatemala on our last day. It's a beautiful city. We were able to contemplate God's creation.

We went to some ruins in Antigua. Visited what it used to be a cathedral. We love Antigua.
