Removing everything for the West Kauai United Methodist Church to clean the floors.

Serving whole-heartidly as a team at tying up 300 tomatoe plants and cutting out fungus at base of plants to help restore and encourage a healthy crop.

Enjoying the smell of tomato plants and getting hands dirty. So fun to see changes in garden from previous opportunities serving here at St Paul Episcopal Church garden.

This was just a small section of a HUGE shade tree our team was able to take breaks from the sun and rehydrate. Thank you, Jesus!

Team Valley Christian School served intentionally, with joy and excitement today for the second phase of the garden: rototilling 3 additional rows for future tomato seeds, weeded, weeded, weeded the rows clear, placed compost, and began the process of laying fabric for the new rows. The fungus treatment completed yesterday was very successful! Praise the Lord!!

A great day to have a great day! Lines drawn for rows, steel rods hammered in to support future stocks and branches, fabric layed and stappled to protect plants from water splasing up on leaves which in turn allow fungus to grow, spread and damage the crop.

The kids worked hard stripping the church floor, then it was machine buffed and finally a protective finish was applied.

All the pews were removed to strip the floors. They then were cleaned and polished.

Last night we were blessed with an awesome BBQ chicken and sides provided by St John’s at Salt Pond beach. Fun in the water, games, and shared worship with our VBS kiddos at sunset was a beautiful time and definite memory maker.

Worship time made special with oue local sisters and brothers each singing in our native tongues, as one in the Lord.

Today Valley Christian got to complete the circle of their work by planting seeds into pods.Then, the end of a chopstick was used to pick up the seeds and placed into the pods. The seeds were watered and will grow into starts that will be planted into the new rows they diligently prepared this week. What a great time we had learning from and participating alongside this beautiful community and partners.

Like surgeons with chopsticks, tiny tomato seeds are placed in the nutrient rich pods, covered, and watered. Well done Valley Christian!

The team helped set up a big tent for the church rummage sale over the weekend.

The team moved all the pews and everything back into the sanctuary.

What an amazing time we had out on the catamaran, “Lucky Lady”. Amazing views along the coast and the magestic Napili Mountains were breathtaking. Several wales were spotted along the way and we got to enjoy some snorkeling too. What an amazing, creative, God we have.

Much needed relaxation. We were treated really well with good food, attentive staff, and beautiful views abounded.

Nothing like wind in your face, the smell of the sea, beautiful views everywhere and sisters and brothers in Christ to share it with, to make you so very thankful to The One who made it all!

What an amazing opportunity Valley Christian School had in leading the VBS with our local kids here in Kauai. Friendships were made, the love of Christ shared and poured out all week, and smiles and laughter were had by all.
