Souled Out Youth Fellowship

This morning we listened as Pastor Randy shared about Acts 4:1-12. We were challenged to stand strong, trust the plan, use the power and turn up the volume all in the name of Jesus! 

We also participated in the Lord's Supper this morning with our new church family. 

We met with FBC Waldorf's Youth & created new friendships. In the class we discussed the story of King Saul & David & the importance of mercy, respect for authority, and trusting in divine justice. It was great getting into the church we're serving & creating relationships within the community. 

Today we prepared decorations for Vacation Bible School, organizing stars that will help create a joyful & bright environment for the kids. Through every task big or small God uses our hands to bring His light and love to others.

We brought the VBS theme to life by hanging fabric across the ceiling to mimic the beauty of the northern lights. Every hand, every lift, and every laugh is part of preparing a space where kids will experience Jesus. It is worship through creativity and service. 

We started VBS & what a joy the kids & team are! Some of us were apart of the game's crew & had a fun time playing around but making sure the point of us being here were. We cannot wait to see what God has in store for the rest of the week here at FBC Waldorf. 

Big smiles and full hearts after a day of volunteering at the Choice Care Pregnancy Center! Our team pitched in with cleaning, organizing, and helping wherever needed to support their mission of care and compassion. We are grateful for the chance to serve such an important and loving place, what an impact they had on us.

We have family members on this trip, being, this is sweet grandmother & granddaughter both getting to be included on our mission trip & VBS! 

We continued our fun after VBS & explored Washington DC together. We visited the National Mall & saw several amazing monuments.

After wandering around DC we joined FBC Waldorf's youth for the evening. There were many laughs but also wonderful conversations about God & the importance of faith. 

Almost finished with the week sadly but soaking up every moment. 

We closed our last night of our trip in the museums of DC & had such a great time together. 

Today is our last day to help out at FBC Waldorf's VBS! We've enjoyed every second of every kid.
