Our team has finally arrived in Opole, and we praise God for that! It's been a long way to get here, but we thank God for all the opportunities he's given us. You're welcome to join us in prayer as we start our adventure in Poland. We trust that God has good things planned for all of us and the people of Poland.

Shopping for House of Hope
by Adriana Leal Espinoza | January 5, 2026 12:14 PM
Today, we had the opportunity to go shopping for a local ministry called House of Hope. They do an awesome work of feeding homeless people and we got the opportunity to be a part of it today by sending part of our team help prepare a meal for them and by donating some items that they needed. God is good and faithful, we have seen time after time how He makes all things work together for our good.

A beautiful walk
by Adriana Leal Espinoza | January 5, 2026 12:20 PM
What a beautiful walk we had today! We are so thankful to God for the opportunity to be here and have moments like this one. It was a long walk from downtown to church, but we for sure enjoyed it.

Our first full day of ministry!
by Andrew Watson | January 5, 2026 3:02 PM
This morning we served at House of Hope - a ministry that feeds and provides supplies to the homeless people of Opole. One half of our group spent the morning preparing breakfast for the morning service and peeling potatoes for the lunch service. They then welcomed in everyone from the extremely cold weather to serve them food, a warm drink, and warm hospitality. What a blessing it was to see everyone communicating beyond the language barriers, getting to know one another, and hearing their stories. Meanwhile, the other half of our group went shopping for House of Hope. They purchased and delivered underwear, pants, and toiletries to "Dom Nadziei" (House of Hope) for the Sisters to distribute to the people who visit.

Kids Ministry
by Adriana Leal Espinoza | January 6, 2026 3:26 PM
Today we had our last day doing kids ministry and we loved it! The kids were less shy and we got to see lots of smiles and excitement. God is good because He allowed us to do this even when most of the kids only speak Polish, and we were still able to share a Bible lesson, crafts and games. We also thank God for Alicja’s life who helped us translate!

Youth Group

We had a wonderful time with the youth today! We played lots of games, shared testimonies, ate pizza and had so much fun. We praise God for this opportunity of making new friends here in Poland. We will for sure miss them!

Orszak Trzech Króli / Procession of the Three Kings
by Andrew Watson | January 6, 2026 3:49 PM
Happy Feast of the Epiphany! This afternoon some of our group took part in an Opole tradition - a procession celebrating the visit of the wise men to the baby Jesus. We joined thousands of local residents who prayed and sang songs before processing through the streets of Opole going from church to church. It was such an honor and a privilege to be able to participate in a local tradition honoring a special Christmas event.

Auschwitz Memorial & Museum

"Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it".
A solemn, impactful visit to Auschwitz & Birkenau yesterday. While we heard powerful stories of heartache and tragedy. We also heard incredible stories of courage and holiness. It was a tough but worthwhile visit to a place of so much pain & suffering. Our prayers this evening center around remembrance, understanding, and peace.

Recreation Day
by Adriana Leal Espinoza | January 8, 2026 4:52 PM
Today was our recreation day. We had the opportunity to go sightseeing, and we had fun! We used the local transportation and saw the city of Krakow while snowing. We also visited the Oskar Schindler Museum, the Jewish quarter, and the main square. We are thankful to God for the opportunity He gave us to visit Poland, learn, and enjoy.
